OUR STORY
Why TECA exists
Cleaning is too often treated as a stop gap: an overlooked job people fall into, with little more than a mop and a quick walk-round. We think it deserves better. TECA exists to turn cleaning into a recognised skillset with a clear career pathway, and to help cleaning businesses take on higher-risk specialist work safely.
Our courses are shaped by Dean & Co Cleaning Services, Megan’s established cleaning business, whose team handles everything from daily office cleans to flood response, trauma scenes and extreme contamination. Their technicians help bring the training to life, so what you learn is what works on real sites, under real pressure.
OUR APPROACH
What makes TECA different
In person at our Leeds venue. A one-day foundation for anyone starting out, with an exam on the day and a CPD certificate (7 CPD hours).
Online sharps and specialist modules you can take individually or as a bundle, at your own pace. They lead into our two-day programme.
Two days in person covering theory, infection control and simulated biohazard cleans, for cleaners moving into specialist work.
